Topflight’s Creative Services team strives for quality, creativity and consistency, from our sophisticated and precise color matching systems, to our innovative label designs and state-of-the-art prepress capabilities. Workflow software automates the process from label design or customer file pre-flight through plates, ensuring that file integrity and version control is consistently maintained. By controlling all stages of pre-press, Topflight can ensure quality throughout its manufacturing operations.
Topflight has one of the most sophisticated and exact color matching systems available. Utilizing both computer analysis and experienced color experts, we can provide near perfect matches from specified standards or sample swatches. Proofs are generated utilizing the customer-specified material, and are provided within an established frame of tolerances, so there are no surprises when the final product arrives.
For guaranteed repeatability of an approved color, digital measurements and ink formulas are recorded and maintained for every match. Inks are mixed and dispensed consistently through a computer system, and exact chromatic readings are compared with approved standards during production to ensure that an approved color appears the same every time it is printed.
Whether pre-flighting customer art files, preparing files to print, or creating a new layout and design for your label, you can always count on Toplight’s Creative Services department to provide the look you need. The team is fast and efficient as they ensure that your artwork will run seamlessly on the press, but when you need help creating something new and unique, that’s when the fun starts! With the ability to print variable content, including data, images, and color, our innovative team can create any sort of customization, serialization or barcode format your project might need. Also, our 3D package software can apply your conceptual label or shrink design right to the virtual package, allowing you to see how your product labeling would look on the shelf.
Topflight has full pre-press capabilities in house, allowing our operators to make rapid engineering changes as needed during trial runs. Precision color matching can be done on customer-supplied targets as small as 3mm. Our digital system has matched lipstick, fabric, cartons, and fashion accessories, as well as standard Pantone swatches. Ink match standards have been developed to reduce match time on multiple ink systems, with most matches being turned around in a standard 1 week lead time.
Once the color match has been approved, digital dispensing systems and 4C fingerprinting ensure repeatable color from production run to run, and each color formula is saved as part of the item specification and can be used as the basis for future customer requests. As plates for both flexo and screen presses are made in-house with digital prepress systems, workflow software automates the process from customer file pre-flight through plates, ensuring that file integrity and version control is maintained. By controlling all stages of pre-press, Topflight can ensure quality throughout its manufacturing operations.
